Mui Ne:

Mui Ne is named after the picturesque and lively fishing town at the extreme eastern tip of the main beach. You can hire a scooter or ask one of our reception staff to organise a drive along to the local market to buy some fresh fruit or a local souvenier. Mui Ne spreads 12 kms along the beach and even in the wet season our temperatures still range between 25 – 32 degrees. Except for the rare tropical storm Mui Ne celebrates summer every day of the year so make sure you are dressed for the heat!!

Mui Ne is the ultimate wind and kite surfing destination in Vietnam so why not take a lesson or two. Take a walk along the beach, tour our local area or jump on the back of a local scooter or taxi for an authentic tour of the beautiful area. Ask our reception for a dune buggy tour or just wind down for an afternoon at the beach or by the pool.

The dunes at Mui Ne are out of the world! The beauty of the white and golden sands are spectacular and can be reached by motorbike or on a planned tour with a local jeep company. Our beachside location offers a grandstand view off low-tide activities likes soccer and  people enjoying the beach and it major gathering place for the kite surfer.

Water sports:

Mui Ne provides ample opportunity for water sports, and being one of the windiest locations in Asia, it’s perfect for kiteboarding foiling and windsurfing, However, although easy enough to find instructors and book lessons for the aforementioned sport, it seems to be being left behind by the new craze – kiteboarding. During the ‘windy’ season, November to March, these kites with their attached riders below can be seen dotting the shoreline the entire length of the beach.

Fishing:

Fishing is the areas main industry as one look at the evening horizon teeming with every variety of fishing craft from bamboo coracle to large trawler reveals. .

Sample the abundant shell fish, crayfish, prawns, squids and fish so fresh and perfectly prepared at the large variety of local and international restaurants here.

Take a tourist or local bus, hire a motorbike , a bicycle or a tandem or make a local deal with a motorcyle driver or taxi to explore the 12 kilometre beach bearing the name of this town.

Mui Ne is blessed with what must be a perfect climate by any measure. The beach is extremely safe, gentle shelving hard sand with on shore winds in both seasons.

Mui Ne is blessed by the famous sand dunes 45 minutes away from us. Two locations are available to visit AND SAND SLIDE — the white sand dunes and the yellow sand dunes. Both can be reached independently by motorbike — or the other option is to jump on one of the jeep tours run by the various travel agencies.
Onsite there are every type of fun activities. Quad bikes and even camels can be hired.

The dunes tour takes around 3 hours and leaves in the afternoon to make the most of the effect of the fading light on the sand formations. After a short walk you will end up at our stunning Waterfall. Ask our reception staff of any attractions we have on offer!

Evenings the entertainment shifts to the main beach front about 12kms of fun things to see & do from live show, bars, restaurants, even mud-baths, massages, mini golf etc… take a taxi cab each way and have a really fun and relaxing night.

Shopping:
The beautiful city of Phan Thiet is only 30 mins away by car or motorbike and offers more plazas, supermarkets, every shopping opportunity at reasonable prices tremendous beauty salons and competent and reasonably priced dental work.
